THE ONLY TRUE AND GOOD NEWS: GOD'S PLAN OF SALVATION.  (presiona aquí para leerlo en español)

News outlets are nowadays full of either bad news or lies. The term Fake News fills the airwaves, and it is becoming ever more difficult to distinguish between truth and lies.

And yet, within the Bible we can find the best of news the entire world has ever had in all its history. God wrote in it the most important message for you:

God loves you and is looking to transform your life by establishing a personal relationship with you. He created you, knows you better than anyone and has the answer to all your needs.

For this to happen, you must understand the following:

Each and every one of us has come to this world to make a decision that is of eternal consequence and value. This decision will determine the place each of us will spend in eternity. According to the Word of God, there are only two places where we can spend eternity, either Heaven or Hell. So here is the most important question you have to ask yourself:

What would happen if I died today? Where would I open my eyes?

To go to Heaven, God says in the Bible that you must be born again.

Jesus said to Nicodemus: "You must be born again," John 3:7. In the Bible we can read how to be born again, or how to be saved. This is a very simple thing, and you can be saved today.

The first thing you must do is recognize that you have sinned.

God created man out of love. He made man perfect and gave him the gift of free will . The Bible teaches that man exercised this freedom by separating himself from his Creator the day he sinned, "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God," Romans 3:23. Because of our sin we can't have a personal relationship with God because He is righteous and perfect. God says in His Word that because of sin we are dead to Him, "For the wages of sin is death," Romans 6:23. This death not only means separation from God while we're here on Earth, but an eternity spent in Hell as well. "Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgement," Hebrews 9:27.

This is indeed a most horrible truth, but be assured that Hell is real.

Which is precisely the reason Jesus died for us.

God couldn't bear the thought of spending eternity without you; He couldn't imagine heaven without you. He loved you in such a way that He offered His only Son Jesus Christ to die as your substitute. "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life" John 3:16. God put heaven in bankruptcy by sending Jesus to the world to live the perfect life that you and I should have lived. Jesus paid for our sins on the Cross and died in our stead, "He made Him (Jesus) , who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him," 2 Corinthians 5:21.

It is very difficult for us in our limited minds to fully grasp how Jesus was judged and punished for our sins, but God Himself says so in the Bible: "But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were sinners, Christ died for us". Romans 5:8.

This is true, God does not lie.

God is calling you today to repent, "now God commands all people everywhere to repent" Acts 17:30. This repentance is a change of mind that God Himself produces and offers for free. The only thing you have to do is recognize before Him that you have sinned, ask for His forgiveness for what you have done, accept the payment Christ made for you on the cross and be willing to let Him change your life. God Himself will carry out this miracle. The only, very simple thing you need to do is accept it. The Bible explains that the true meaning of believing in Christ is to receive and accept what He did for us "Believe In the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved". Acts 16:30,31. Neither religion nor good deeds are able to save you. God is the only one who saves, and Christ the only One who died for you. Salvation is a gift that you only need to accept and receive. "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God; not by works, so that no one can boast". Ephesians 2:8,9.

Today you can decide to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, using the same freedom and free will that God gave you. God says in The Bible that we should call upon Him, asking to be saved. "For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved". Romans 10:13. You may think this is too easy to be true, but it is; the Word of God tells us so. It is the Creator's greatest gift to all mankind.

There's really no time to wait. Believe in Jesus and receive Him today as your Savior. "Behold, now is the acceptable time; behold now is the day of salvation". 2 Corinthians 6:2. Right now, Jesus is standing at the door of your heart, calling and waiting for you to let Him in. He is saying "Behold I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with me. Revelation 3:20.

This is the decision of eternal value that you must make.

Wherever you may be right now, approach God and in your own words, pray in the following way:

"God, forgive me for I have sinned. I repent for what I have done. Lord Jesus, I accept the payment that you carried out in my place for my sins at the Cross, and I ask you to save me. I ask you to come and live in my heart forever, and to transform my life. I accept you as my personal Savior and want you to be my Lord. I pray and ask these things in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen".

If you prayed and asked Jesus to save you, He is now living in your heart and you will spend all eternity with Him in heaven. "Yet to all who received Him, to those who believed in His name he gave the right to become children of God". John 1:12. God promises He will now begin to transform your life, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new" 2 Corinthians 5:17. The new birth Jesus talked about to Niocodemus is His own presence in your heart and the new life which you will notice as he begins to change you.

If these words are not clear, read them over again until you fully understand them. Ask God to help you understand and do not leave this page until you have and until you have made salvation yours.

Don't forget that your soul is eternal and is your most precious possession. Do not allow it to be lost, "What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul? Mark 8:36,37. Make absolutely sure you are saved. Don't gamble with your soul. If you lose it, you will lose your opportunity to go to Heaven. Let God save you right now.

Your feelings are not to be trusted as they are ever changing. Be strong and trust in the true and everlasting promises of God.

If you have invited Jesus into your heart, here are three basic things you should practice that will help you experience spiritual growth in your new relationship with God:

Pray. This is how you talk to God.

Read the Bible. It's how God will talk to you.

Share this message of salvation with others, "Therefore everyone who confesses Me before men, I will also confess him before My father who is in Heaven", Matthew 10:32,

God bless you.
